Hi there, I hope this isn't a burden for anyone. I am concerned my GMAT quant is too low. I did do my graduate degree in econ for half the time and generally did well, although I got a "B" in statistics since the scores were normalized and I had a 94%. Other than that, all As and B+s in econ so maybe that offsets the concern? I'm not sure I can retake in time for the round one applications, but I also don't want to throw a lot of money at schools that I have no shot at. Thank you! Now I'm at a place where: I already have a hard science bachelor's degree and I am finishing up an MBA with tuition assistance, both are from state schools. I have a completely untouched Post-9/11 GI Bill to bankroll the education for this career change. We will leave my current location with no debt and in a favorable financial situation. I'm looking to go back to school for geophysics, then follow that up with a masters degree. I won't make any attempt to hide the fact that I'm looking to get into something that can be lucrative, but I do love the physical sciences so money is not my only motivation. Due to the amount of courses I've already completed and will be eligible to transfer, I will only have to complete the last two years of the undergraduate degree. I am actively looking for programs and my main objective is finding one that will give me the opportunity to get internships and get recruited quickly after graduating. My spouse is fully on-board with this and since her career is mobile we are both willing to move to whatever university we have to after we leave here.
